Port Talbot YMCA climbing wall has recently had an overhaul. We now have new climbing routes for all abilities.
The climbing wall can be used for those who are just starting up, to those who are experienced climbers who are looking for a suitable place to enhance their skills.
Any one can access the climbing wall, and it is available to hire. We can offer taster sessions or indiviual instruction on techniques. History
Port Talbot YMCA like most other YMCA's have a history in providing their young people with opportunities to undertake activities and sports which they may never have an opportuntiy to do. Climbing in the YMCA has been in existance since the early 1900's with YMCA's winning local and national events.
a YMCA Mountaineering Award dating back to 1930's.
